New York, NY (May 5, 2005) – Eagle Rock Entertainment and Eagle Vision, the leading independent source for high quality audio/visual music programming, release the inaugural DVD by rock quartet Puddle Of Mudd. The group that stormed onto the charts with their abrasive brand of grunge deliver Puddle Of Mudd- Live At The Key Club: Striking That Familiar Chord on May 31, 2005. Pay-per-view channel InDemand will also premiere the show on May 13 at 10:00 p.m.
Filmed in High Definition on November 16, 2004 at the cozy Los Angeles venue, Puddle Of Mudd's vigorous performance showcases many of their greatest hits, including "Away From Me," "She Hates Me" and the chart-topping "Blurry." In addition to the nearly two-hour performance, bonus features on the DVD include an acoustic set filmed in the days leading up to the show, as well as an extensive interview with the multi-platinum selling group on the band’s history and tales behind the hits.
Currently in the studio working on the follow up to 2003’s Life on Display (Geffen), Puddle of Mudd sold over 5 million copies of their debut, 2001's Come Clean. The album spawned four radio hits (“Control”, “Drift And Die”, “She Hates Me”), including “Blurry” which became the most played track on Modern Rock Radio for 2002 and earned the ASCAP award for most played song of the year.
Puddle Of Mudd Live At The Key Club: Striking That Familiar Chord is a perfect hold-over snack to whet the appetites of the rabid Puddle fan. The DVD is presented in stereo, 5.1 surround sound and DTS audio, has a total run time of 140 minutes and a list price of $19.98.
