This DVD, recorded live in August 2003 in St. Louis, is Little Feat's first-ever performance shot in hi-definition technology. Little Feat's seven-member powerhouse line-up continues to carry the band's thirty-plus year tradition on in fine style, both as a hugely popular live act and in the recording arena. Time has loved these musical heroes for more than three decades now, as have countless fellow musicians, many of whom they're collaborated with over the years--both individually and as a group-including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Beck, Brian Wilson, Robert Plant and Johnny Lang. Little Feat first sailed onto the scene some thirty odd years ago, and ever since, their unconventional, mix of earthy, organic appeal and polished, first-rate musicianship has been a lasting fixture on the musical landscape. Little Feat's long and winding history began in 1969, when Lowell George left Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention and connected with Bill Payne, Richie Hayward and Roy Estrada to found Little Feat. Today's Little Feat is comprised of both new members and new additions, with Bill Payne on keyboards and vocals, Paul Berrere on guitar and vocals, Shaun Murphy on vocals and percussions, Sam Clayton on percussion and vocals, Kenny Gradney on bass and vocals, Richie Hayward on drums and vocals and Fred Tackett on guitar, mandolin, trumpet and vocals.
